Where is the sun? It was shining brightly through my window earlier
Now it's gone.
And, I'm all alone.
Where has it gone? How I miss the brightness of its light, its gentle warmth.
Now I face the cold.
But, still it's there. And, I know it is coming back.
And, I'll be there and everything will be alright again!
Though the darkness is frightening, it cannot deny me You!
Your love will shine through!
And take me through the storm,
..Take me to my home with You.
And, as the deer thirsts for streams of water
So, my soul longs for You, Oh, Thou Living God!
And, as I cry
Now, my tears have been my food all day and night,
As I'm crying out to Thee, O God, my Lord, have You forgotten me?
Still I will hope in You, and I will praise You, for You're here with me!
