I've seen them theologic zombies and them charismatic clowns.
I had some ecumenic movements and them pentecostal downs.
I thank Jesus that there's people like you!
If we all hold on, then maybe we can crack the truth!
I've seen them Jesus freaks and legalists in communes and in churches.
I've known messianic dunking donuts talking to John Birchers.
I thank Jesus that there's people like you!
If it wasn't for my brothers and my sisters, I don't know what I would do!
I've seen them pantheistic mystic gimmics talking about Karma.
I've seen Buddhists selling tourists plastic statues of Mohammed.
But, one thing in this world that I would really like to see
Is getting back to the Bible and the restoration plea.
I thank Jesus that there's people that are free.
When you learn the meaning of freedom,
Then I think you'll find you could be.
I've seen them high priests selling Jesus talking religion for business.
I've known church mice hiding their eyes. They're too scared to give a witness.
I thank Jesus that there's people who care.
Believe me when I tell you that without them I just don't have a prayer.
I've heard them pseudo-philosophic existentialistic views
I've been tommy-gunned with words of preachers screaming don'ts and do's.
I thank Jesus that there's people who care.
